Stevie at The Bath & West

Stevie Wilkinson is showing at the Bath & West Country Festival, and is excited to let you all know that three of her original paintings from 'Buildings in Isolation' series have been accepted for the Art Exhibition this year.

Stevie explains her inspiration... "During lockdown I was drawn to the landscape and how each lone house or group of buildings represented security within a sometimes bleak and unpredictable environment. These painting are my vision of the exposure I felt stepping out from the safety of my own home".  Her expert use of colour and texture create a beautifully abstract landscape that draws the viewer into each painting, we instantly see the building as havens of calm and safety and place ourselves within a landscape we recognise.
